Removal of Nickel (II) Ions, Low Level Pollutants, and Total Bacterial Colony Count from Wastewater by Composite Nanofibers Film.

This study clarifies the important role of nanofibers produced from polyacrylonitrile after reinforcement with iron nanoparticles (γ-Fe2O3), to expand applications these fibers and combine their ability remove Nickel (II) aqueous solutions pollutants such as total suspended solids, nitrogen, chemical oxygen demand, cyanide well killing bacteria in wastewater. The results absorption treatment solution were obtained by an atomic spectrometer type (AAs-7000) a (Hach DR2800) treating samples wastewater pollutant results. adsorption kinetic parameters for Nickle proved that rates increase maximum capacity 43.27 133.5 74.63 178.571 mg/g when increasing initial concentration (10-50 mg/L) first second order models. pH, contact time, electrical conductivity, are good indicators efficiency (II), high removal was 23.96 % at low concentration. Also, reduction rate increased TN: TP ratio significant up 90 8 hours.
